Dead Man's Phone begins with the murder of a young man you have to investigate. Your partner is at the crime scene and keeps you informed on everything happening around the area via phone while you access his phone remotely. You can comb through conversations, check the browsing history, go through the gallery, and more, gathering clues and evidence as you go.

Besides accessing the victim's phone, you can also access the operating system at the police station, communicating with your partner at the crime scene as well as other characters. In fact, talking to as many people as possible to uncover additional information is an important part of your job.
